The answer will cost you one copy of FileMaker Pro 7

I have a database of all my DVD's on my Mac with FM Pro 7 and decided
to copy it over to my PC using FM Pro 7 as well. As you can guess, I
have troubles with all my graphics files, on all 400 records. Get the
error that Quicktime is needed, as well as a TIFF Decompressor. I have
QT on the PC, but no dice there.

Everything I have read said that you can change the graphics one at a
time, or I can copy them from a website, back to one at a time again.
I'd rather do neither.

Any easy way to get my PC to recognize my database with all it's
graphics?

I also have a few extra copies of FM Pro 7 versions to sell. Retail
full versions, came from a CompUSA closeout. All my Mac versions have
sold.

Graphic Converter (on your Mac) can do the job in batch for 400 files
very easily

Right. SiliconSam didn't mention what format the images are in initially.
(The "TIFF" error could have been misleading.) But his general plan of
attack would be:

1) Back up the database
2) Employ a script to export all the images from all records to a folder.
Algorithmically determine unique filenames for each record and store that
filename in a field.
3) Batch-convert the files using one of the many graphics utilities
available for either platform into a nice cross-platform format like PNG.
4) Employ another script to import the converted images back into FileMaker.
Update existing records based upon the unique filename field you created in
step 1.

Also, I am not positive about this, but I think that if you

network the file from the Macintosh,
then open it as a guest from a Windows FileMaker,
and browse through records

FileMaker will actually do some internal processing to PC-ify the graphic
files. At least it used to do this back in the early days when this was a
more prevalent issue.
