Default Printing Fields List - 04-06-2010 , 06:18 PM

Is there a simple way, other than a Windows screen capture, to print
out the list of fields as found under Manage Database, Fields.

You can go to either the Tables or Fields tabs, select all (or whichever
ones you want to print) and then click the 'Print' button in the dialog
window.

Howard,
After all these years it amazing how often the wood hides the trees.

I did not even look at the bottom of the screen for a print button.
I thought I should be able to print from the main toolbar Print button
and never even thought of selecting ALL.

It is often just lttle things are hard to find.

The other day I thought I had lost the ability to have a scroll bar at
the side of a Portal but I could copy another portal and change it to
suit and all was well.

The problem was the Default line color in Edit Layout had got set to
white.
Its OK now but I learn something every day.

Thank you for you prompt reply.

I'm not sure about the newer versions, but in the older versions of
FileMaker you can use File -> Print and then choose the option to print
the Field definitions.
