I'm a novice using FMP 9 Adv. I have used Insert Object to insert a
PDF file, selecting Display as Icon. When in Browse Mode it does not
activate at all. It does, however, in Layout Mode. And while in
Layout Mode after I close the PDF, I get Adobe Reader 8.1 has stopped
working.... The icon has expanded in size. Is there some
configuration I'm missing to get the PDF file to excute in Browse Mode
or is the error I get in Layout Mode causing the problem?

Thanks... i see my problem. I was inserting it in Layout Mode and not
Browse Mode. It works great and now, I have another question. While
in Browse Mode, it opens up and works perfectly, but if I open another
window or select another window that I have open in Filemaker the PDF
file that I opened goes away/closes. Any thoughts as to why this is
happening?
