Default Pasting text without styles - 07-01-2005 , 01:19 PM

This is probably a very old question, but I can't find any references to
it. So now someone is going to tell me "RTFM". Well, my eyes tend to
glaze over if I try to flip through a PDF looking for a detail that
isn't indexed or readily searchable. Printed manuals are readable, but
PDFs are strictly for reference...

The problem occurs in "cutting" some text out of a formatted document,
and then "pasting" it into a Filemaker field. The formatting comes with
the text, and overrides the formatting specified in the layout. It's
just a bother to have to select and reformat.

I just want to paste the text without the format. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Andy
