Default Open URL FAIL - 01-15-2010 , 07:48 AM

Hi

I'm scripting an open URL to open a jpg on the station it work for a
long time... now ONLY on my PC is not working anymore....

This is not a FM problem, I bet it's Window XP again ! but anyone had
the same problem ??

openurl: "file://serveur2003/scanned/2009/" & table::name & ".jpg"
ALSO

openurl: "file://serveur2003/contract/2009/" & table::name & ".pdf"

used to open using default Image viewer or Acrobat Reader.... work on
all the other station on the network, except my PC.

When enter manually in firefox, nothinh happen, IE7 it open the jpg in
IE7
in Explorer it will launch the default image viewer...

Any clues of what went wrong on my PC ?? (no new application
installation....)

TY

JF

You now have a space in either the path or file name? You need to
substitute spaces with '+'.

Or maybe jpg files are no longer set to open with your browser by
default? Open My Computer, tools menu, folder options, file types, and
look for jpg to see what program it is set to call for opening.

Nope.... when I double click on any of those 2 file type, it open in
the correct application (so the default app is working and I check and
it's fine) and there's no space.... (and it's working on all other PC
of the network) so it's not a bad URL address....

and I lost BOTH the same day, JPG AND PDF so it's something wrong with
the URL, in the window side....
