Hello, I have a database for a small college. There is a student table, and a prospect table, in FMP 8.5. At some point a prospect may become a student creating a one-to-one relationship, and for various reasons, I must maintain them as separate tables. For some reason the relationship is only one directional. That is, when I am in Students, I cannot display the data from the Prospect record. It will display the data from the first record in Prospects, not the supposed related record. When I am in prospects, I can display the data from the student record, but only if I create another instance of the student table. Ultimately what I want is to be able to use the Prospect data in the Student table. That is, data I collect about a prospect will be the data the I use for the student: name address email phone etc. Anybody know why this is not working??!?! |
