Default ONE TO ONE relationship - 12-06-2006 , 06:12 AM

Hi everybody,
just a question concerning the definition of a ONE to ONE relationship:

In FMpro 8.5 I define a ONE to ONE relationship by linking two tables
via their Primary key filed, and then set "unique value" on both
fileds.
Ok, but... when i create a record on one table, filemaker do not copy
the value on the other (????), so how can I keep the information on
both tables identical?
Any suggestion? Do I have to set a script?
Thanks

What are you trying to accomplish with your database?

It is not obvious why you want to have two tables with the same data in
a one-to-one relationship.

What you describe can be done either by a script, or by defining the
fields in one table to be filled by lookup from the other table.
However, it is not obvious why you would want to do that in a one-to-one
relationship.
