Yes I know it's out of date, but we sure could use a copy. |

The Script Debugger saves tons of time, and if you have to rename a file set, the renaming utility helps a ton. The ability to run a structural report is key, particularly if you want to use some analytical tools like Brushfire or MetaDataMagic. All of those features make Developer much more than a runtime creator. |

Thanks Lynn, You nailed it on the head, the debugger is what I was looking for. We've never really used it before in our years of development. A new hire had said it was a useful tool, though we had never found it necessary. So we wanted to give it a shot. We are shop stuck in the transition zone creating a new Enterprise solution and still are required to maintain existing FM6 solutions. So we thought we could do some cleanup until the new stuff came along. P.S. I found out if you really want it you can buy a Dev 7 license (Full Price) and receive the Dev 6 media with reg code. |

If you are into serious cleanup, or if you contemplate a conversion effort on those files, look into MetadataMagic (www.ncmi.com) and BrushFire (www.chapsoft.com). Indispensible developer tools. |

I did for a long time without it, but now that I've used it, I don't see how I lived without it. And if I'm ever asked to convert a FileMaker solution from 6 to 7 without MdM, you might as well just chop off both my hands. No way, no how. |
