We are looking for an experienced FileMaker developer who can provide
us consulting and possible development for an existing project.
Experience with the Schubec PDF plugin is a plus.

We have a product developed in FM Developer 7 on Windows designed to
print manuals. We have about 95% of the functionality, but we are
encountering difficulty in printing. We intend to distribute this
solution, so printing functionality needs to be robust.

Printer settings, such as double-sided and collated printing, are not
kept through the print dialog boxes. Our manuals are composed of a
couple of different layouts, so we need print settings to stick
between print jobs. As it is, they are not even kept through the
"Print Setup" dialog box.

In order to solve these problems, we examined the Schubec PDF plugin
to create a single PDF out of the various report layouts. However, we
have had problems with repetitions of layouts in large compiled PDFs.

If you have experience with the Schubec plugin, or you have experience
with scripting and printing multiple layouts, please contact us. NDA

Also, note that Filemaker 8/8.5, with built-in PDF functionality, is
not an option. From my understanding of the license, you are not
allowed to use the PDF functionality in a run-time distribution.
