Default Nameing Excel Worksheets to be Imported in a Script - 01-15-2010 , 12:09 AM

I have an Import Script that accepts an Excel File name in a variable
but I cannot see how to select a particular worksheet in the file. A
dialog box comes up allowing me to select from the list of Worksheet
names but I would like to preload the worksheet name in the script so
it would run without intervention.

Just looking for answers to my first request and see I should reword
the question.

I have an Import Script that accepts an Excel File name in a variable
but I cannot see how to specify a particular worksheet in the file
with a variable. A
dialog box comes up allowing me to select from the list of Worksheet
names but I would like to preload the worksheet name in a variable in
the script so
it would run without intervention.

Found this response dated Dec 14/09 in the FileMaker.com
Knowledgebase

At this time, a script will not permit the selection of a specific
Worksheet via a variable. I encourage you to enter this information
into our Feature Suggestion web form at:
http://www.filemaker.com/company/feature_request.html

Back to your original problem, one way of getting around this is to
create separate script steps for each Worksheet, and depending on the
variable, select the appropriate import script step.

My problem now is how to enter a worksheet name into an Import Script
statement in FM10 ADV on OSX.
