In all my solutions, I always hide and lock the status area and then
recreate the relevant features in a button bar across the top of each
layout. But the one thing I've never found a good solution for is the
slider. I've tried Digital Fusion's Reactor plugin and I've created
clickable "slider" bars with pixel-wide slices so users can jump from
one group of records to another, but so far nothing mirrors the simple
elegance of FMP's slider, where you just drag it and the record number
changes. Has anyone come up with a way to mimic this? I'd love to
hear about it.
