Some of my FM 10 on a MAC table and field names are longer than the
width of their respective columns in the Table and Field tabs. I can
resize the columns to see all of the longer fields but the new widths
are lost when I leave the Manage Database screen. Is there any way to
make a FM database remember the widths of the Manage Database columns
between invocations?

Hi, Tom -

I don't think so. There are a whole bunch of dialogs in FM for which
it doesn't seem possible to set the column sizes once and have them
stick, such as managing database, managing layouts, custom functions,
accounts & privileges, etc. If someone has a solution, it would be
great to hear, but I've never found a way to control them.

Was hoping this might be better in FM11 but there is still no obvious
way in FM11 to make different column settings stay in effect across
sessions. What is the best way to ask FM Developers for a new
feature?
