I have a situation were I want to set the date the same in all records.
I have set gbdate = "Sept 1 2007" and I want to make each occurance
of a gbdate in all record to be the same. Years ago there use to be a
"Push" Option. How would I do it now?

To have that field filled by default with specific data when you create
a new record, set that in the Define >> Database >> Fields >>[The field
you want] >> Options >> Auto-Enter >> Data
To fill that field with the same data in all existing records:
1. Do Records >> Show All Records
2. Click in the field you want to set.
3. Set the desired value in that field.
4. Do Records >> Replace Field Contents
