Default MAC OS x / MF7 and Excel - 08-23-2005 , 01:14 PM

Hi all!

Since aview weeks I'm using a Mac OS x system.
I bult a database in Filemaker 7 and would like to make analyses in
MAC-Excel with Pivot funktion.
ms-query needs ODBC driver.

Do you know which odbc-driver works ?

Thanks for info.
If it is possible, pleas send me one.

The only one that has a hope of working is the driver that ships with
Filemaker 7 (patched to the latest version available from filemaker.com)

Using ODBC with filemaker is rarely click and go. You have to follow
more constrictive naming conventions for tables, fields when you design
the database, etc or calls through ODBC will crash, fail, send up
bizarre error messages and so forth.

It should be possible to make it work, but it usually takes a bit of
work.
