Jeez, here I am again, feeling like an idiot. I have recently upgraded to FMPro 7, on MacOS 10.4.1. We have two Dymo LabelWriters (a 300 and a 330 Turbo) that are essential to our work flow. We print letters in batches of up to 25, but usually less. Sheets of labels would have lots of waste. The LabelWriter 300 will print a label from its own software just fine, but when I try to print a label from FMPro it comes out blank. The paper advances, but nothing prints. There is no option in FMPro for the Avery 4150 label that I use, so I've had to make my own. I have tried using 1) my old label layout that I used in FMPro 3 with the same label printer; 2) a custom label sized to the Dymo label (no margins; with and without small header); and 3: a label created from a blank layout. Nothing ever prints. Incidentally, I can't get the 330 Turbo to work at all--Printer Setup Utility crashes when it connects to it. It uses the same software/drivers as the 300, which are the most current available from Dymo. Unless I get some bright ideas here, I guess I'll look into Brother label printers and hope they are more up to date and compatible. It's really irritating to have my database/new computer migration be held up by a label printer. Amanda |
