In FM 11 advanced (OS X) Is there a keyboard shortcut for selecting a field to add to the calculation. So far I have found that only clicking on the field will add it to the calc window. |

While the focus is in the list of fields, you can type the first few letters of the field name and, once it is the selected field, use the Insert key on your keyboard to add it into the calc. But I'm with Harry -- I nearly always forego the use of the mouse in the calc dialog. *I type my functions, operators, and many of the fields names. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Howard Schlossberg FM Professional Solutions, Inc. * *Los Angeles |

granted, typing is better faster in the long run if mastered. The mac keyboard has no insert key. I wonder if there is an equivalent. I have tried several key combinations.
