Im currently using Filemaker Pro 7 on WinXP. When I enable Instant Web Publishing I get an internal IP Address: http://192.xxx.xxx.x/ when I think I shoudl be getting my real IP: http://201.xxx.xxx.xxx. When I try to use the http://<IP>:<Port> option and its alternatives I get stuck on a Username - Password Prompt. So my question is, where can I set up that username and password? or where can I change the IP Address provided by Filemaker? I am doing something wrong? Im trying tu host and publish The database from my PC... its a small Student Group Project for my university and we need to have other universities access it. Thanks in Advance =) *Jimmy* |

I am not behind a Router, thats the most confusing thing of all.. Ive already added my port to the exceptions of Windows Firewall. Isnt there an option to "Force IP". What other accesing options do I have for IWP? Tks. |
