Default Integrated charts - 12-04-2005 , 07:35 PM

The only thing missing in the conversion on my crash test database from
Access 97 to FM8 is the ability to generate charts within the
application (as opposed to exporting the data to Excel and charting from
there). I have found a plug-in to do this - oAzium Charts:
http://www.onestopfilemaker.com/page/page/1034387.htm
I will try out the evaluation version (if it works with FM8) but I would
appreciate advice on this and other plug-ins to do this task.

I must admit that I found the Access integrated charting woeful. My 1985
DOS software Open Access did a better job.

oAzium is good.

Depending on your needs, you may find that ChartMaker does what you need
-- not a plug-n, but is a FMP database that links in with your solution.

or bar charts at <http://www.clevelandconsulting.com/cp-app/ste_cat/CCVbar>

And if you're on Mac, you might want to check out the XMChart plugin:

You might also check out Brian Dunning's ChartMaker Pro, which is
purported to produce charts without a plugin.

Thanks Matt. It looks to be much better value (especially for runtime
solutions) than others on the market. I will give it a go.
