Hi,
Apologies in advance because Im sure this question's been asked 1000
times... I just can't find the answer.
I have a Word doc (Mac Office 2004) that is a 3 column table, each
cell with a mailing label (name / addr / etc) in it.
I'm now creating a FM-based contact mgt system and want to import
these into FM as records.
Any suggestions on ways to semi or fully automate this ?
Many thanks.

One way is to convert from Table to Text, convert the delimiters from
line to line within the cell to tabs, and convert the delimiters between
cells to paragraph returns. I have done this in the past, using the
Rind/Replace feature of Word.
Then save the document as a text file.
FileMaker can open a tab-delimited text file directly.
