Default Import creation date on Macintosh - 08-14-2003 , 01:05 PM

I am creating a database of digital images but cannot figure out how
to import each image's creation date. FM offers options to import
filename and file path, but I can't figure out how to even extract
"date created" information. I'm running FMP 6 on Mac OS 9.2. Any
suggestions would be much appreciated.

You will need the Troi File plug-in to do this.

Applescript may be able to do this. Fenton Jones, who used to post to this
group occasionally, made a solution that uses applescript to import all
kinds of data from the image file. Not sure that creation date was one of
them, or even if his applescripts are open, but it might a place to start
looking
