Filemaker Pro Advanced v8.x

I'm looking for a small, simple FMP relational database that I can use to
learn how to create one. The minute I open a book, or try to use a help file
I go numb, and I think this would be a great help to me. Help appreciated -

You get the choice to create a database using a template when you
launch. Have you looked at any of those?

Thanks Matt! I looked at them just now as a result of your suggestion. All
the templates look to be flat files? IM
