Hi all, I am new to the IIS and Filemaker animals. Here is my environment: I have a dedicated Filemaker server (named: filemaker), on which I am running Filemaker Server 7 Advanced on Windows 2K3. I am hosting 5 databases on the server and it is being used strictly internally (intranet), so security isn't really an issue. Everything is up and running and I can access the databases through the internal address ofhttp://filemaker/iwp/fmi/res/iwp_home.html. The problem is I want to be able to hit the database by typing the addresshttp://filemaker without using a redirect. When I do this now, I receive the default IIS page and it says it is under construction. If I make a new default page in IIS and call it filemaker, what do I set the home directory of the website to? Can I do that so the site is dynamic? Can I just copy a directory over to the inetpub/wwwroot folder in IIS? I've searched the Filemaker online support, but it isn't very helpful. I'm sure it is a relatively easy fix, but I'm stuck. If anyone has a better suggestion, I am all ears. Thanks in advance, Dan |
