How do we create hyperlinks, pls? I have a URL field by itself that
is for the user to click to get to the stated URL. Only a URL is in
this field, btw. TIA.

Say your field name is <MyUrl>
Create a script <Open URL>
Enter just one script step: <Open URL; without dialog; Field Value (MyUrl)>
Make the field into a button, set it to perform script <Open URL>

If your question was how to create a hyperlink within a larger text, this
can not be done.
