Default How to find the label size used for a layout - 06-12-2007 , 10:00 AM

Sorry if this is obvious, but I can't find how to discover the label
size (Avery or custom) that was used when the label layout was first
created. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Carla.

Not obvious, and I don't have the full answer, but you can change the
margins and no. of labels per page, margins etc. in Layouts, Layout
Setup, Printing.

Not directly, but you can print a mock page, measure the size and amount of
labels and compare this to the standard sizes Avery has.
Or create a tempfile, create layouts with every available preset and compare
these to that you have got.

And in future, if you are creating such layouts, you might name the layout
after the Avery number. Like <Print Avery J8159>

Keep well, Ursus

Thanks Dave, that helps, although I had hoped just to be able to see
what label type had been originally used, and change it if I want to
(so that the labels per page, margins, etc. change automatically based
on the new label type selected). Doesn't seem much to ask, but it
doesn't seem to be possible.
