Trying to work out a lookup, only my heads more tuned into excel than how to do this in FM (v6), I've got field a) which has all he uk counties, and field b) which would tell us the region that county is in. What I would like to happen is the the region field looks up the county field and returns the right region, I can get this to work for one county using the 'if' command but if I try to add extra counties and/or regions it breaks. I've also looked at case but can't get that working. Thanks in advance |

Hello Jon, You must have a file containing the county, region pairs. So the idea behind the lookup is that you relate field a) to county and then lookup field b) from the region field of the related record. Thanks for the pointer, finally got round to sorting it out as had |
