It'd be nice to have my filemaker clients authenticated via the LDAP
server built into OS X server, but I haven't got a clue about LDAP

What I ahve done so far is to click the correct buttons in FMS admin as
per the help - but I don't know what to do with the search base, all I
can do is copy the example so what I enter is

ou=FileMaker, dc=mydomain, dc=filemaker, dc=com

substituting my domain for "mydomain"

Just doing that doesn't seem to do anything useful.

Should i have entered anything at the server end?

Any help much appreciated
