Hello,

I have a questionnaire portal set up to where it displays the question
field and the answer field. The question field is not editable, but
the answer field is. I have both fields set up with transparant
backgrounds and the portal is gray background.

When I click the row i want, it highlights the entire row, and the
question field turns a nice color, but the editable field goes to a
white bg and thus turns into an ugly black color when highlighted. So
I am stuck with half the portal one color and the other black....

Anyone know how to get around this?

I just know one thing : if you make the whole Body part say 'red' and put a
large square on it say 'green', then your fields say 'yellow', then when a
field is selected it shows the background (here 'red') color.

Instead use the rectangle tool to draw a rectangle covering the whole
portal row (obviously behind the fields or "invisible' via no fill and
line colours) and make this a button that simply goes to the answer
field. That way no matter where the user clicks on the portal row they
will end up with the text cursor wating in the answer field.
