An office I visit has FMPro 5 installed on 5 machines (all properly
licensed) and is using one as the host machine. It has run perfectly
for ages. Today I was called as "there was a problem" that none of
the clients could connect through "hosts".

I found that the file "FMIPX32.Net" was not to be found - although I
did find it in the system folder. It appeared that this system folder
may have been moved so I copied it to the filemaker folder and
networking became live again.

However, later they experienced a problem with "Find". According to
them, doing a "find" creates a blank record which cannot be deleted
and there is a blue flashing line around the boxes.

Very grateful for any pointers to correct this for them. Could it be
the now duplicate system folder? I strongly suspect someone of
"tinkering" with things which caused the initial problem.

All machines are running Windows NT4
