Complex multi file (65 files) on osx server.
Yesterday a trash can icon on a portal row just disappeared. When you hover
it used to be the cursor still changes to a finger and you can click.
Today a similar behaviou on an arrow graphic in a portal row.
Is this a sign of corruption.
Recommendations on regular maintenance to avoid these issues?

FileMaker Developer 7 on OSX 10.3
I haven't had graphics disappear on me, in portal rows or otherwise,
but I regularly get different color lines just showing up on layouts.
I've even got one layout where the column headers for a list are
underlined, they're all blue except 1 which is blue text with black
underline (didn't think that was possible).
I deleted that column header and created a new one then went into
browse mode, the column beside it now had the black underline???
I just left it at FileMaker 7 does some weird things sometimes.
Since these are my standard files I'm extremely careful not to damage
them; they have NEVER been closed improperly.
I would suggest trying to quit FM Server and relaunch it again just to
see what happens.

We are running Server v5 on OS9 and my assistant who has v6 on OSX is
having graphics disappear for him also. They are just pasted into
layouts, used as graphic elements, not in fields.
So far no solution for us.

This is a case where telling us what OS you're using could help a lot.
If you're on OS X 10.3.x (and perhaps 10.4.x) and running Apple's latest
Security Update, you may be experiencing the results of a bug in the
update. This publicized bug causes some JPEG and GIF graphics not to
display because they're mistakenly determined to be corrupt.
I had this happen to two icons I use a lot in about 50 FM files (both in
container fields and pasted directly onto layouts). The only fix was to
replace the icons with fresh ones. Fortunately in my case, I still had
one machine that hadn't received the Security Update, so I was able to
at least see what I needed to do.
If you're not dealing with a "security updated" Mac, the problem may lie
