Default Good hard copy sources to convince clients of Filemaker? - 11-20-2005 , 11:00 AM

Hello,

I want to compile as much third party recommendations on Filemaker so that
potential clients are not just taking my word for it. Any links to articles
and the like that you have used to validate Filemaker to potential clients
would be appreciated. My clients are largely associations and non profits.
I will of course start with some of
the obvious such as the filemaker site and filemaker advisor magazine.

thanks,

Pierre Lessard

No salestalk will help if your work is lousy. Try creating an example
database, create a run-time solution and distribute that. Put some nice
looking things and some functionality in it, then limit the amount of
records, or the amount of time it can be used.

Now you can tell them: this is what I am capable of in conjunction with
filemaker.

In this instance my ability to manipulate filemaker is not the question.
With extensive references and succesful projects under my belt, this is not
what current canditates question. Their question is wether or not Filemaker
itself as a technology (and company) is what should be used. I am siimply
looking for what others have found to be the best third party unbiased views
of Filemaker that clients have reviewed and embraced.

thanks,

Pierre Lessard
