Now you know why it's called "moo" ... it's a bit of a pig to use
without documentation. ;o)

Well Harry you're a real FMP whiz but don't be signing up as a ranch
hand. If you think that if it "moo"s it's a pig I'd love to see you
try to milk the thing that goes "oink." ;o)

Apparently it's a lot more time-consuming to milk a pig than to milk a cow:

Any animal that produces milk can be milked ... whether it's actually
worthwhile to do so (because of cost or horrible taste) is a different
question.

Then again, Harry likes using FileMaker 6, so he might be up for it!

[Sorry, Harry! I couldn't resist!]
Technically it's FileMaker 5.5 most of the time (4.1 if I need to make
a standalone, but that's rare), with version 6 only available at one
place. )

My main client organisation might have to upgrade to 8.5 (or 9 by the
time they need it), I about to look into how easy it is to get another
5.5 license for them first though since that's all they really need.

Hopefully helping harassed humans happily handle handiwork hardships ;o)

This looks very useful. Is the download cross platform?
I would really like the FTP feature. Let us know when that's in.
Its just for Windows currently, but I've started work on making it
cross platform, but its pretty much gonna be a case of re-writing it.
And yea I was working on the ftp functions today

And I should add my thanks to Dempsey for making such a plug-in available to the FileMaker community at no charge.
Thanks I was gonna charge because of the time and effort put it,
but then I thought about how much I wanted a free plugin todo the
stuff anyway.

Yep, free or sensibly priced plug-ins are always welcome.
Yea thats exactly what I thought, theres at least 3 paid-for file/
folder related plugins already, so thought may as well make mine
free! No-ones gonna buy it from me rather than troi of 24U etc.

Well, let's see.

So far, we have the most useful file handling functions. Not as many as Troi File, but that's cross-platform and they charge $75 for it. Cross platform would definitely be best.

Telnet functionality might be handy.
