Default FMP11 licensing - 03-11-2010 , 06:16 PM

FMP 9 Adv licensing gave you rights for 2 installations (typically :
MacOSX and WXP).
I didn't see the same info with FMP11...

and what about the way of activation ?

Two installations which are to be used by the same person but not at the
same time (work computer and "portable or home computer").

Section 1 (d) of the licence agreement.

Seems to be identical.

Activation was only used in FMP9 (and FMP9A).

The manual for FMP 10 still described the mechanism but it wasn't
actually in the application. It isn't even listed in the manual for FMP
11.

Yep. It's nothing but a pain in the sit-upon for legimate users. Adobe need
to drop the silliness from their software as well.

When I was installing Adobe InDesign for a client a while back, it refused
to connect to the server for authentication, and the phone number you were
supposed to ring didn't work either. \ Luckily it did eventually work
before the time limit ran out, but only just.

Then you've got the idiotic problem of de-authorising applications, which is
impossible if the computer / hard drive dies!
