Default FMP version corruption - 02-01-2007 , 08:50 PM

I have a small file created with FMP8 which is local to my desktop and had
no username or password. It just opened when I clicked on it.

Was having some trouble with some other files and thought maybe the client
version was causing the error. So tried to open my FMP8 file with FMP7
client. It insisted on my entering a username and password. I now get this
action if I try to open it with my FMP8 clients also.

Apparently trying to open it with FMP7 client did something to it. I have no
idea what username or password it is looking for since there was never one
assigned.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

GB

Try 'Guest' as the account name with no password.

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried Guest with no password and all sorts of
other passwords I could think of. No cigar...Can't even think of a way to
export the data to another database. Man, did I ever dig myself a hole...
