Comment/Observation: Terrific that FileMaker 8 now supports underlining typing mistakes. Not so terrific this cannot be turned off on a field-by-field basis for the many situations where a field contains alphanumeric codes that will not be in any dictionary. Bill |

You can always make a script to check the spelling for the fields you need and attach it to a button beside the field. For instance, I have a memo field that I want to check for spelling. I created a script to: Check selection of " MemoField" I attached a button beside the field and Voilà. You can script it to check as many fields as you need and skip the ones you don't want to check.
