I'd like to hear thoughts on this architecture.

FM8.5 server installed on Win2k3. Database on local NAS connected via
a network drive letter. FM8.5 Server shares the data to clients.

LAN is gigabit, FMP data would have a dedicated network port on NAS.

I am curious if anyone has run this configuration using FM7 or
better. Is there a marked difference in read/write speed between this
scenario and the "normal" scenario where the data file resides on the
server's hard drives?
