Default FM7 Instant Web questions - 07-15-2004 , 12:51 PM

In my FM7 upgrade, only 5 records are displayed in the Instant Web
Publishing list at one time in Table View.

Also, not all data is displayed in larger text boxes.

Another thing I don't like is that records are no longer "clickable"...you
have to toggle the layout view which is not intuitive for web viewers.

CDML is no longer supported...you have to buy the "Advanced" Server at
$1500.

I'm not trying to be difficult, but I had more features for less money with
my FM 4.0.

Can you put buttons in list view and have them work in IWP?

Hi Glenn,

I have spoken to Filemaker and they said that at the moment 5 records is all
you get. They had no idea if this was going to change in any upcoming
update.

In addition, records are "clickable" if you click on a field in the layout
header (instead of a portal) if you are using them.

You dont have to click the EDIT button to edit a record.

hope this helps.
