I have a client looking to deploy a database on the iPhone and
Blackberry. There appears to be no program for porting FM to
Blackberry, though FMWebschool is working on an analog to their
FMTouch for the iPhone, with no release date announced yet. Is anyone
familiar with other programs that would do the trick short of
designing a PHP-driven solution on the web? Has anyone worked with
FMTouch and had good results? I see a number of iPhone apps have been
built with it, but it appears to lack support for most scripts and
calculations. In fact, the reports on many FM forums cite buggy
behavior and gaps in support, such as problems recognizing equal
signs, summing data, etc. Have any of the regulars on this group ever
used it? Let me know your thoughts.
