What for?

It appears to be slow,
it has advertisment,
it has no reasonable search engine (but loads of Google ads via Google),
it has an overloaded web interface,
it has none of the usenet features (threaded view, new topics only,
scoring, ...)

Sorry - I'm not a fan of web forums. I just checked on one thread that
it used 250 KB bandwidth, where usenet would take about 5 KB.

Ok - you won't get user's images, if this is what you need ;-)
On the other hand it's not as buggy - I just got an php error while
attempting to login.

This place here is the wrong one to ask for migration ;-)

I signed up there a long time ago, but have only ever visted a few
times becuase it is far too slow and cumbersome to use. \

Hopefully helping harassed humans happily handle handiwork hardships ;o)

The new site is much snappier.

Transition is never fun but we are working very hard and we will
resolve the bugs shortly.
We are confident that we provide a very useful service and provide this
