Win XP / FM 8 Within FM 8 the scroll wheel behaviour is different than FM 7 E.g. when the cursor is within a field or object, I can not scroll to another record using the scrolling wheel. [...] I don't like that behaviour at all !!! In the old situation I could scroll, change or edit a field, and immediately can scroll to the next record, to edit or change the same field of that next or previous record. |

Seems nobody knows a work around to get the old situation. Silly, FM 7 in the old situation "officially" there was no wheel mouse support but has a wonderfull working, and now FM 8 do have wheel mouse support but with an annoying work around to have advantage of this feature. One man's failure is another man's win. While you preferred the old behavior, there are many people who prefer the new behavior. If you are in a field or a portal, it seems to me that it should scroll through that field or portal. I understand your situation, but the new behavior makes absolute sense to me. |
