FileMaker Network Settings help -

I'm trying to set up FileMaker Network Settings on two Macs running Snow
Leopard, a MacMini [server] and a MacBook [client].
On the MacMini I open FileMaker Pro 9.03 Advanced with the relevant
database, set Network Sharing to On and specify the file to use - and of
course set it to display in Open Remote File dialog and access to all
users.
But in the TCP/IP address I see two addresses: 192.168.1.39 [the correct
one] and 192.168.4.1 [one not supported on my router]. Sometimes the
order is reversed. And on a second line i see the top of what seem to be
two further IP addresses.
In Network, however, I have removed any other IP addresses than the one
associated with the hardwired ethernet: 192.168.1.39. Originally, there
also was addresses connected to AirPort, iPhone tethering, firewire and
two installed by Parallels.
When I open FMP on the MacBook, select Open Remote File and then the
MacMini [with the correct IP address: 192.168.1.39], the database isn't
listed amongst the Available Files. And it doesn't help appending it to
the Network File Path. Of course, the database file is open on the
MacMini.
And if I open FileMaker Network Settings on the MacBook, set network
sharing to on, I see two IP addresses with the computer's cabled
connection + AirPort. And again further two that I can only see the
uppermost quarter of.
What can be wrong? Will I just have to make a clean re-install on both
computers, erasing harddisk and install Snow Leopard all over again?
