Default Filemaker 9 conversion - 06-15-2007 , 09:33 AM

If you were building a solution in 8.5 knowing that you might convert
it to Fm 9.0 when it releases, what kind of things would keep in mind
concerning the adaptability of SQL. ie. naming conventions etc.

thanks

As a friend is fond of saying, "Hard tellin', not knowin'."

All we have to go on so far is rumors. This is how the FileMaker
community lives from version to version.
Since nobody knows for sure what FileMaker 9 will look like, it is
somewhat difficult to advise you how to plan for it.

If memory serves me correct the FMP Naming Conventions white paper
already has some suggestions for SQL problem avoidance. You can still
download it from FM's website.
