We are looking to use a filemaker 7 or 8 solution between two offices
with approximately 20 users at each.

We will have a 1mb leased line dedicated to this function.

This will be a fairly large database although we will not be
transferring any large image fields or anything like that.

Does anyone have any experience with sharing filemaker like this over a
WAN with this type of bandwidth.

I know filemaker 6 was pretty abysmal over an internet ADSL, but have
been told more stuff is done server side with filemaker 7 and 8.

We would prefer to use filemaker client software rather than go down
the web route.

Any experiences shared would be very helpful
