Default File Maker Server Help Updated - 06-04-2007 , 12:38 PM

I have posted previously regarding this issue and I have finally
determined the issue at hand which thus points to a new question. The
problem I was having was due to the need for me to set a file path to
a "FileWin" file path as opposed to a "fmnet" file path because for
some reason a database that is necessary for operation of our business
does not show up in the server list of available files. When I open
the server the file is there and I cannot seem to find the disconnect.
I need to define my file path's as fmnet file path's in order to allow
users to access the databases properly. Has anybody ever had problems
like this, if so did you figure out why some database files do not
show up on the server while using the FMP?

Open the file locally with FMP, check Edit/Sharing. Put the file back in
the FMS file directory, open FMS and look at the files served. They say
whether they're opened (for guests to access over FMNet) or closed.
Every file is closed if you first put it there. Mark it and have FMS
open it.
