field validation problem in FM8.5 pro - 03-19-2007 , 04:30 PM

I have set the validate by calculation option in a numeric field. I realised
that the validation is taken place only when I press ENTER to the field and
not on exiting the field by clicking with the mouse to another field.
Any help?
