Default Field format of pasted entries - 03-07-2011 , 01:03 PM

When I copy content from an external file such as a .pdf, the format
is also copied.

When I paste that copy into a FMPro field, the format of the external
data overrides the field settings.

I can click Edit>Undo formatting or key Command-Z to revert to the
field settings.

Is there some way to revert to the field format settings without the
extra key strokes.

If you paste with option+cmd-v instead of just cmd-v, the format won't
be copied.

You can also use a text format function in auto-enter to remove all text
formats. Remember to set the calculation to replace the field contents.

Elvin,

You can place an auto-enter calculation on the field =
TextFormatRemove ( Self ) .
