Default Enter new row in a text field - 01-24-2012 , 06:27 AM

Hello.

I have a text field which a store a values of several variables
($Var1&$Var2&$Var3...) what is done by script.
I wont after 4 variables to go in a new row in that field so that tex field
should look like this:
$Var1&$Var1&$Var3&$Var4&
$Var5&$Var6&$Var7&$Var8&$Var9&$Var10&$Var11

Any idea?

With best regards
Zarulja

In some newsreaders / servers that paragraph symbol doesn't come through.

Just in case,
$Var1 & $Var2 & $Var3 & $Var4 & "Para" & $Var5 & $Var6
& $Var7 & $Var8 & $Var9 & $Var10 & $Var11

where word Para should be replaced the small 'backwards P' paragraph
symbol on one of the buttons in the Define Calculation window (and you DO
need the quotation marks around the symbol though).

You can press the Return / Enter key anywhere you like in the Define
Calculation windows - FileMaker ignores tham, so it's a useful way to help
with readability. For example you could enter the calcualtion as:
$Var1
& $Var2
& $Var3
& $Var4
& "Para"
& $Var5
& $Var6
& $Var7
& $Var8
& $Var9
& $Var10
& $Var11
