Default Email Problem. Please Help! - 09-20-2005 , 10:42 PM

We're having a problem emailing out of FileMaker Pro (both 7.0 and
8.0). On machines that are running Outlook 2003, the "To:" field is
blank in sent messages (viewed in the Sent Mail folder). On the
machines still running Outlook 2000, there's no problem seeing what
address an email went to. We're using the basic "Send Mail" script
step.

That's the problem in a nutshell. I can give more details if
necessary.

thanks!

Jill

Don't suppose you want to switch back to Outlook 2000?
Are you saying FileMaker is not filling in the "To" field or outlook is
just not displaying it, if the problem is the later then I would
suggest posting the message on an Outlook forum.

Using Windows XP SP1 (?) I guess Outlook 2003 (Express ?) is used.
At least no Outlook 2000 as Windows XP SP1 is more new.

No problems here (FM 7.0v3). Did use the scripts as found within
standard examples as found in the Filemaker programm folder.

So didn't make my own script steps for this e-mail sending.
Just the basics as found already. Don't know if it do contain extra
script steps for proper working.
