Default Editing text buttons - 06-14-2005 , 02:01 AM

I created a text button and set it to perform a script. Afterwards I
tried to edit the text on the button, but I could only do that after
setting the button to "do nothing", and I had to set it to perform a
script again after editing. Is there any other way to edit the button
text?

Thanks
Adrian

Yes, if you let the name of the button blank in the first place.
Then when done, create a text and add it on the top of the button.

Yep, one very simple and obvious way - get ready to say "Doh!". )

Once a button is set to perform anything other than "Do Nothing" you
can no longer double click it in Layout Mode since that brings up the
Define Button window so that you can change what the button does.

BUT, when in Layout Mode you can click on the 'A' Text tool first and
then single-click on the button and that will let you edit the button's
text.

You can of course use the Arrow / Pointer tool, single-click on a
button and then change font, size, style, text colour for the button's
text using the menus.
