Hi All,
Is there a way to disable Keyboard Commands in FMP7 under Windows. The
problem is that it is easy for a User to accidently hit a Control Sequence
and delete a record, close the file etc. Of course I want the user to have
these priveledges, but only through intentionally using the standard button
to do that. Can I disable some/all of these functions from FMP7 or is that
functionality part of Windows. The FMP7 Help explains the functions, but NOT
how to disable them.

If you disable the menu items the hot-keys are disabled too.

If you hide and lock the status area the record navigation hot-keys are
disabled.

You may also look at the "SecureFM" plugin (www.securefm.com) that - at
least for FMP6, I don't know for FM7 - let you disable almost
everything.
