I've done some searching but to no avail.....hope someone can help. I've been running a basic accounts package I developed a very long time ago. I can't remember which version of Filemaker I first used but, with all the upgrades over the years it has continued to work for me with the odd adjustment here and there. Ever since the most recent upgrade to Filemaker 11 I have been faced with an annoying problem. Whereas I used to be able to input into a date field the numerals dd/mm and the "yy" part would automatically place in the year we're in (ie "11" right now)......NOW I have to complete the date totally.....ie dd/mm/yy otherwise the date is rejected as not being compliant with requirements. This is SO annoying and time wasting. But I just cannot work out how to shortcut this back to how it was for the last 20 years!!! Please help me somebody??? Thanks. Jim |

Jim, I don't have this problem. Are you on the most recent version of FileMaker 11? That's 11v3. David |
